We are a computational biology lab that focusses on the use of population level data to understand variation in gene expression and post-transcriptional processing. Our current focus is understanding RNA processing in human mitochondria and the downstream functional impacts on health and disease.

Alan Hodgkinson currently holds a Career Development Fellowship at King's College London as part of the MRC eMedLab partnership. The lab is also funded by a project grant awarded by the BBSRC.
